Vegas! Not Just for Adults

Vegas has long been known for being an adult playground, and in many ways, it still is. However, there are now many family friendly experiences and events to see and do. I recently was in Vegas for a convention and saw many families of all ages together having fun on the strip and museums, etc. Friends and I rented a car and took off for the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon, an easy 2 hour drive from Vegas. We loved the new ARTE Museum and you would, too!

Below are a few ideas for families:

Adventuredome at Circus Circus
This indoor theme park is perfect for kids of all ages, with roller coasters, arcade games, and fun rides like bumper cars and a Ferris wheel. It’s an all-weather experience, so you can enjoy it regardless of the temperature outside.

The Neon Museum
Known as the “Neon Boneyard,” the Neon Museum offers a colorful and fascinating look at Las Vegas’ past. Kids will enjoy the bright, iconic signs and the chance to learn about the history of the Strip. They also offer nighttime tours with lights that make the signs come to life!

Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay
A visit to this aquarium is perfect for kids who love marine life. They can get up close to sharks, stingrays, turtles, and other sea creatures. The aquarium has interactive exhibits and a tunnel that allows you to walk through a tank filled with sharks!

High Roller Observation Wheel
Located at The LINQ, the High Roller is the world’s tallest observation wheel. Kids will love the 360-degree views of the city from the giant cabins. It’s a fun and relaxing ride where you can see the entire Las Vegas Strip from above. The ride lasts about 30 minutes, and it’s a great way for kids to get a different perspective of the city without the hustle and bustle of the crowds.

The ARTE Museum
The ARTE Museum is an exciting new addition to Las Vegas, especially for families who love art and creativity. Located in the Arts District, this immersive museum is designed for all ages and features stunning interactive exhibits. The museum offers a range of digital art installations, optical illusions, and 3D experiences that will spark kids’ imaginations.

If you are thinking about a vacation out West and want to include some new ideas, think about Vegas for your family trip.
